This week is an opportunity to encourage pride in your community\, interest new members\, and work with other groups to be part of those efforts. \nDistrict 1 finale to National Garden Week will be a Rededication Ceremony for the Bartram Trail Marker at Fort Pickens. \nThe address is 1400 Ft. DESCRIPTION:The District 1 finale to National Garden Week will be a Rededication Ceremony for the Bartram Trail Marker at Fort Pickens. DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN \nIn Honor of Linda Henderson\, NGC Emeritus Master Flower Show Judge\, there will be two spring sales of many floral design items\, as well as a book signing for Linda’s book: Designs for the Divine – Interpreting Scripture Through Flowers. \nSale and book signing will be on: \nFri & Sat\, JUN TBD\, 9am-1pm – 1686 Windpointe Cove\, Gulf Breeze\, FL 32563 (across from St. Sylvester Catholic Church\, off Hwy 98 in Lighthouse Point Subdivision) \nCome shop specially selected floral design components and dingy boat with sails and accessories! \nLinda is excited to see everyone there!  \nLinda Henderson has cultivated a rich legacy at District I\, FFGC and NGC. Starting as a member of the Navarre Garden Club for twelve years and served as its President for four\, nurturing its growth and community impact. \nFifteen years ago\, Linda Henderson’s passion for fostering new growth led her to found the Dogwood Garden Club of Gulf Breeze\, where she presided as President. Her dedication to the wider gardening community flourished further as Director of District I. \nLinda Henderson’s floral design expertise has been recognized at the highest levels. She is an NGC Emeritus Master Flower Show Judge. Her commitment to education was exemplified by her status as a Certified Floral Design Instructor\, where she has sown the seeds of knowledge in aspiring designers. Moreover\, Linda led an Advanced Floral Design Study Group for the District\, which she successfully transitioned to a global virtual platform during the COVID-19 lockdown.
