SUMMARY:Native Adventure at Bone Creek Recreation Area
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Longleaf Pine Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society Saturday March 25th at 10:00 a.m. for a native adventure at Bone Creek Recreation Area – 4915 Bone Creek Rd. Holt\, FL. (map link below).\nWe will carpool from the University Mall NE parking area in front of JC Penney and across from Firestone Tire leaving at 9:15 a.m.. It is about a 40 minute drive from there. After Bone Creek we will visit a location about 9 miles south near the Yellow River/Guest Lake area. We should be done no later than 3 p.m.\, however you may leave at any time. You do not need to be a member to attend this event. \nhttps://goo.gl/maps/qempVBkkgLSuTP56A \nThe Bone Creek Rec Area is part of Blackwater River State Forest and is a gem of a location to see native plants. The trail is about a mile long loop around Bone Creek Lake passing through both wetlands via boardwalks and uplands.
