Discover the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs – District 1, Inc.
Explore the world of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., which is composed of twelve districts, with District 1 encompassing Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Our organization is a proud member of the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. (DSGC), which includes six states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Additionally, we are members of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC), which consists of all states, the National Capital Area, and International Affiliates. Welcome to our home!

FFGC– Life membership in FFGC is for those individuals aspiring to the goals and ideals of FFGC. A fee of $300 provides a lifetime subscription to The Florida Gardener. Members also receive a certificate, a membership card and pin with the FFGC logo and no longer pay dues to the state. Applications are available at www.ffgc.org. Individuals may purchase membership for themselves or give as a surprise to honor a fellow club/circle member. Life Member Form as of Aug 2023.

DEEP SOUTH REGION – Life membership in the Deep South Region is used specifically to fund their scholarship fund. Membership is $50. Applications are available on line at www.dsregion.org.

NATIONAL GARDEN CLUB – Life Membership is currently $200 and includes a Subscription to National Gardener. Applications are available online at www.gardenclub.org.
The Florida Gardener magazine is published online quarterly for membership. The print version is available upon request.
A Book of Information (BOI) is published biannually for member use and guidance. the BOI lists, achievement, and service awards are available to clubs, circles, and individuals at the national, state, regional, and district level. Garden Club members should ask to see their Presidents’ copy of the FFGC BOI to view the broad array of awards for which individuals and clubs can be recognized. Many of these are monetary awards. So get to work, set a goal for yourself or your circle, earn an award, and make an impact on our gardening world!
